I used to be a huge CFL and Edmonton Eskimos fan. I have fond memories of going to games at Commonwealth Stadium where attendance was around 55,000. Just an awesome atmosphere for a kid.

Then I discovered NFL football. Whoa, kinda like CFL football, but the players were all bigger, faster AND more talented. As an added bonus, it wasn't pass, pass, punt 700 times a game.

Don't get me wrong, I still like CFL football and love the history, but give me a choice to watch one or the other and it's no contest.

Sorry, got sidetracked a little there. Ed Hervey, former WR for the team, was announced as the team's new GM. I was so happy that the Esks parted ways with that babysitter abuser Eric Tillman and that goofy Machocia guy.

I love the interview I saw. I can't find the clip at the moment, but he REALLY slammed Tillman for his ego. LOVE it when guys are honest in interviews and Hervey will be a breath of fresh air for the Esks. Go Esks Go! Now, what channel is that Green Bay game on?
