    08-09: 73 pts

There is nothing there that would indicate that Krejci is a 40-50 point player - absolutely nothing.

Average out his 4 full seasons (the last 4) and you get 62 pts. So the guy puts up 62 pts in his last two seasons and averages 62 over the last 4. I put him at a 60-65 point player.
Yeah Im aware of the stats. I just think Krejci is injury prone, soft, and redundant on his team. I should say 40-50 is my forecast crazy as it might seem.

I'll take Pacio here. Looking forward to seeing Galchenyuk and him making magic down the road

Krejci simply has too many guys ahead of him on the depth chart in Boston. Bergeron and Seguin (if they slide him over to C) should be the top 2 centers IMO

Somewhat agree with the redundant part.

I don't see how he's injury prone. Over the last 4 seasons, he's lost a total of 13 games. There's no indication of injury issues.

Also, a pts only league, why does softness (actual or perceived) matter?

Well theoretically the coach would dislike him and he'd get less ice time.

That clearly hasn't happened over the last 4 seasons:

    08-09: 16:50 ATOI
    09-10: 18:15 ATOI
    10-11: 18:51 ATOI
    11-12: 18:25 ATOI

With Claude Julien at the helm for each of those seasons and with his job not apparently in jeopardy, I don't see any major change as a result of softness.

Being soft has nothing to do with popularity amongst coaches or the ice-time player receives. Just look at Sedins. They're as soft as it gets and still amazing players who can be trusted in all situations. Krejci is just like that too. He's a well-rounded player who can play any situation even if he's not a tough guy. He's very good two-way player and if Bergeron wouldn't be in the same team Krejci would get more recognition of his two-way game.
