lol...I figure if my expectations are low enough, I can't be disappointed. Right...???

2- You take a player from Latvia, and that guy isn’t even playing.
    3- You select Nathan MacKinnon
    4- You take Seth Jones.
5- You don’t take the team Canada goaltending, instead opt for the US goalie
    6- You take Radek Faksa
    7- You take Olli Maatta
8- You don’t take Ryan Strome.
9- You think too much about the defence, and take Hamilton and Murphy, instead of Canadian forwards
    10- You take J.T. Miller.

Probably not a coincidence, I've done all 10 of these.
I did 1, but worse (Grigorienko), 3, 4, 7 (+ 4 more Fin's), 9 (somewhat - I went from RNH to Grig's because I wanted to add 2 canadian D, still have Subban, and the no-brainers (to me) of Strome and Scheifele), and 10, which is more then half the list (Also, took Hampus Lindholm who isn't playing) and I was in the top half last night...

Then RNH had to blow up just now... *sigh*

So a reminder - the relegation games (Finland really the only team that should bother people) do not count for points anymore. Thankfully, most of the fins produced good points for people (the bigger dark horse was Rasmus Ristolainen, bringing in 4 points from the D for 9 people... added to my "find out more about list").

Also, I noticed that Mr. John "Fancy pants" Gibson had an assist, so I added that to his points.

I'm shooting for a top 50 finish. I would be extremely disappointed Ted with anything worse than that.

Unfortunately that was me last year (tied with one other). Didn't cause me to quit fantasy hockey yet.... although Fehr and Bettman are working on that too.

I fully expect my Finnish players to finally start putting up the points in the relegation round, only for me not getting any of the benefits.

Big win this morning by the Americans.

    Seth Jones - 4pts
    Jacob Trouba - 4 pts
John Gaudreau - 3 pts (hat trick)
    JT Miller - 3 pts

    John Gibson with the SO.

That should help my pool a little. I had all those guys with the exception of Trouba.

And now that the Fins don't count, they explode for nine goals. And Maatta still doesn't get a point.
