At this point I'm not sure that Heatley should be considered an upgrade over Oshie and I'd take Schultz well over Hedman. I think you'd better stick with what you have

I wouldn't do that, nor do I understand the motivation for considering it.

I have to agree with the others. I wouldn't do it. I expect to see a bump in Heatleys numbers due to the Parise/Suter factor but he is on the decline. Oshie isnt anything spectactular but Schultz will be the one you will eventually regret giving up.

Stick with what you have here.

I would say to no to this trade. This trade does not make your team better.

    Agree with the consensus here.

Heatley over Oshie is argueable. Heatley is on his way out...or at the very least...will remain a sub PPG player even with the new talent surrounding him. I'd expect Minn to try and bump up Granlund eventually to the #1 line which probably means Heatley is a 2nd liner in the next 2 years. Oshie has been steadily increasing his presence for St.L. I expect he will cement himself as the #1 Winger next to Backes for the forseeable future. So Oshie's upside already outweighs Heatley's expectations.

And Shultz is a far more valuable prospect (fantasy wise) than Hedman has ever been or ever projects to be.

Stick with what you have bud! Thank everyone above me who said the same.

I agree with no for this trade. I think Hedman will be fine in the long run, but I also think Schultz will be great too. Oshie vs Heatly, I give the edge to Oshie. No reason to make that deal.

I bought low on Hedman this summer because I haven't given up on him just yet, but I wouldn't trade Schultz for him. Plus I don't like heatley so I wouldn't do that deal if I was you.

I won't quarrel with the overall assessment of the trade as I don't know enough about Schultz to really chime in.

But, from this sucker's perspective at least, you still go with Heatley over Oshie every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

I'm not about to give up on a guy with a career worst of 53 pts, for a guy with a career best of 54. I'll roll the dice on that 5% chance Heatley gets back to 80-90, something Oshie will never, ever do.

    i see heatley as a 65 pts
and schultz is more difficult to predict BUT he is in the best situation to be sold high in a trade

I agree. 65 to 75 pt high in my opinion. I'n not drinking the koolaid on the 5% return to 90-95 pts.

There are so many other players in similar situations to Heatley...and far more likeable...if you want one a player with his type of baggage, go grab Andy MacDonald or Vinny Lecav. Atleast you can respect those types of players, each of whom may possess ppg ability still given the stars aligning...(hey...if Heatley is given a 5% chance to return to form...why can't these guys?)
