Default Week 12 - Bench TWO

Another crucial week. I'm in 7th place (1 pt behind 6th place with same record). Our league is extremely tight. Standard league.

I have to bench TWO of the following - who should I bench?

    Miles Austin
    Roddy White
    Michael Crabtree (SF)
    Lance Moore
    Fred Jackson
    Beanie Wells
    Mike Williams (TB)

As I have it right now, I've got Williams and Jackson benched.

NOTE: I am playing a pretty weak matchup this week - would rather avoid risks. But I'm still unsure.

    Thoughts?

Not 100% sure who all of these teams play....but I would bench Moore and Jackson.

I think Jackson is a must because of the emergence of Spiller, and I believe the Saints are playing Tampa and it should be a shootout, but I put more faith in Freeman connecting with Williams than I do Brees with Moore.

Thanks for the input. Jackson makes sense, although the last game he played he got 2 (almost 3) TDs. NO is playing SF and Moore also got 2 TDs last week.

I would start Williams and bench Wells. Wells was doing nothing behind that offensive line before he got hurt. Williams has a sweet match up against the Saints. Even if he doesn't get in the end zone he will be close to 100 yds

Williams is against the Falcons - does that change what you think? It's also my Team D unfortunately.

I'd bench Jackson and Williams. Moore would be on the bubble, but he's coming off of a 2 TD performance. The matchup is tough, but i think he and Graham will be the hot reads and most productive receivers for N.O. against a stingy 9ers D.

Wells is my other bubble, but he is FRESH and has a good matchup. St.L has a killer secondary, so Ari will have to run.

The reason i choose Williams in tandem with Jackson is because i see Doug Martin having a HUGE game and TB trying to eat the clock. And with the emergence of Dallas Clark, there's less RZ targets for Williams, which is where he made his money. So between Martin, Jackson and Clark, i think Williams is the odd man out. And don't forget about Underwood. He's been a nice little hot read for Freeman.

Do not bench Fred Jackson. He has done really well even with Spiller starting ahead of him. He is the team's second best player and they will continue to feed him balls. This is an easy matchup for Jackson and they will have to get him involved in order to keep up with the Colts D. Jackson has gotten more fantasy points than Spiller 4 out of the 6 games that they have played together.

I would bench Wells and Moore. Wells has missed quite a bit of time due to injury. Even if he is ready I'd bet he still isn't going to do much especially considering LSH has done so well in his place. I also said Moore because he is very hit or miss.

Beanie Wells for sure. Him being fresh is not relative, that o line is horrendous. Jackson would get goal line carries and there should be a couple here. Still, I'd rate him, Williams and Moore as a toss up. But wells for sure.

Thanks for all the responses guys. I ended up benching Jackson and Williams... at the time of this post they've combined for only 3 fantasy points, so it's looking like a good move.
