    Put me down for Smith. The Coyotes lost some pieces but they still have a great system in place and it will do wonders for Smith's peripheral stats.

    Ward gets my vote. Still think he's a great goaltender, and while Smith had a stellar year, I'm more inclined to trust Ward and his proven status.

    Agree with Bondon here. I really really wanted to vote for Smith. One year is just not enough time to be considered proven.

    Ward for me. I like Mike Smith, but I will vote for the guy who has had more then one solid year in the NHL.

    Last time I said that Smith is solid but when he goes against the NHL's true elite, that is where he falls. Ward for me.

    I voted Smith but it was a tough call. I guess I'm a believer in Smith actually being as good as he showed last year.....maybe he doesn't repeat the numbers exactly but I think he'll be close. Even with the expected improvement from Carolina, and Ward being a very good goalie imo, I just think Smith will have the better numbers between the two.
