Tough one...
If it's standard settings, I think I might be more inclined to go MacArthur...
I think Hudler is definitely more talented of the 2, but if you look at his situation.
He has to compete with Iggy, Tanguay, Cammalleri, Cervanka, Backlund, Glencross, Stempniak and Hudler, so you're looking at 8 players with 30+ point potential, and probably 6 with 50+ point potential. So there is a bit of competition there.
With that said, the Flames did have a bit of an offensive dropoff last campaign, they tallied only 530 points as a team. The previous 3 seasons prior to last year they tallied, 693, 543 and 662, so I mean there is a bit of room for improvement as a whole.
With MacArthur, there is less competition, Toronto has Kessel, Lupul, JVR, Grabovski, Bozak, Connolly and MacArthur, so I mean that's 7 players with 30+ potential, and probably 4 with 50+ point potential... So there isn't as much competition there.
They're also on the way up, 578, 572, 620 the last 3 years.
I generally place more emphasis on team depth as opposed to player skill, so I'd lean slightly more towards MacArthur than Hudler but only slightly.
