Ryan Miller
Craig Anderson
If you go last 3 years for both goalies, you get:
Miller: 0.54 wins per game , 2.44 GAA, 0.921 SV%, 0.08 shutouts per game
Anderson: 0.51 wins per game, 2.75 GAA, .915 SV%, 0.065 shutouts per game
Pretty close in two categories at least. And that includes Miller outlier year.
Really surprised the vote is so far apart.....I went with Miller but I gave Anderson some consideration for a second or two. In the end it came down to feeling safer with Miller.....he's probably not going to repeat 2009-10, but he's pretty much a lock for 2.50 and .915, with 30+ wins.
Anderson is still too unknown. Yes he had a great year in Colorado, and he's been solid enough since getting to Ottawa, but even last year when he played so well he had a 2.83 GAA. He's a good goalie but I'm just not ready to take him over Miller.

Miller's the better goaltender. If you're going to compare stats, especially respective means, you throw out both high and low outliers...not just the best year.
Last year was as bad and Miller gets. That whole Lucic thing got into his head, and the team learned a lot from that.
That said, my fantasy relevant bench mark for goalies is 60 games. It's arbitrary, I admit but hey....
So, Miller's first year at 60+ GPs was 06-07 which was also his worst year with a 2.73 GAA. His best as we all know was 09-10 at 70+GP and a 2.22 GAA. So throw those out and ya got approx 2.5 GAA (give or take) at approx 60-63 GPS between 06-12
Anderson...well, he's had only two years (09 -10, 11-12) at 60+GP (71 and 63 respectively) at a GAA of 2.71 and 2.84 so if ya throw those out there's not much to go on. He hit 51GP at 2.8 in 10-11 beyond that he hit 30GP only once.
Not sure how this is even a discussion.
