i think its pretty well certain that Edm give Dubnyk the keys to the #1 spot this year. Just wondering how Khabby fits in though(or does he?).

Traded(If theres even a market)? Or what do you think?

Khabi's role will be the veteran backup who can step in and potentially steal the job if Dubnyk falters. That's how i see it

I think Khabibulin is a legitimate threat to steal a decent number of starts personally.

Yeah im just wondering if using my #1 Waiver priority in a 20team Dynasty is worth it. Need some more goalie starts and don't know if he slips through to FA. Goalies are slim in this league.
I mean im probably not in contention for atleast another year. But if he shows a bit he could become trade bait down the road.

What kind of guys do you typically see hit the waiver wire? If you're in need of goalie starts this year then it would probably be worth it...but if you're thinking beyond this year maybe not because we don't know if Khabibulin will stay in the NHL past this season.

Do you think you could possibly target some long-shot guys instead? (i.e. Bobrovsky, Scrivens).

Not much on WW so these guys are not close to being available on waiver wire & its tough to trade for a goalie

I wouldn't go for the BullinWall in a dynasty setting.

Looking at your team, I doubt that you are in contention next year, or the year after that. Some savy drafting could help you out within a 3 year range though.

Hopefully some of your players take that next step within the next couple of years, like Johansen and Okposo, while others keep on developping (Voracek and Kane).

Same goes for your def. No one is an established player for the next couple of years. They might develop within the next 3 years though.

Backstrom's contract is ending this year. The Wild signed Harding until 2015. Who knows, he might get the starting gig and run with it, giving you the starts you need when you need it the most. In the meantime, I'd bite the bullet and keep on drafting the best players available.

I would hang onto the #1 waiver priority and hope he slides to FA and grab him then. If he doesn't, I don't think he is worth much to you this season and another season along I think you are going to see Harding helping you out a lot more.
