    Jakub Voracek, for sure.

If that is too obvious of a choice.... Zajac? I guess he has a 67-point season to his name, though.

Derek Stepan is another dark horse if he clicks with Nash.

    League in sig:

Deciding on last spot (maybe more if you see a replacement) for my starting roster. I have Whitney pencilled in (see Ennis and him similar value in a roto league, though Ennis should see more SOG) but I'm debating between Whitney, Ennis and Perron for my last starter. Who would you recommend? If you see a better option on my bench (or even like one of those three more than Plekanec filling in for kesler, please let me know!

    Thanks!

I just traded Despres and Zack Phillips for Nick Bjugstad in a sim league. The gist of player value in this league is a combination of offensive and defensive abilities. I know you're high on Phillips (part of what led me to drafting him in the first place), but did I overpay or did I make the right move?

    Hey, Jeff!

I'm in 12-team H2H keeper league, where you can keep 6 players including max 2 goalies. This year I'm keeping Schneider and I have to draft others goalies. Could you rank these goalies for me? 2 or 3 of them will probably get snagged before it's my turn to pick.

    Anderson
    Brodeur
    Crawford
    Dubnyk
    Elliott
    Lindback
    Nabokov
    Pavelec
    Varlamov

    Angus,

By this time last year, the word was out on Craig Smith and Matt Read as two guys who were ready to step in and make some noise in the NHL, despite being unknown, and unowned in a great number of leagues.

So my question is, does such a player or players exist this year? Is there someone most of us are missing entirely who has a great shot to step in and make an immediate impact? Conacher might do it, but he is pretty hyped at this point. Killorn? He is about the right age, and is coming out of the NCAA, where good prospects are often overlooked, but is he likely to make an impact this year? Any other guys you can think of?

    Default Eberle vs Yakupov

    Good morning!

I asked you on Twitter the other night, but I'm still debating it: trading Eberle+ for Yakupov.

I have an offer right now which looks like:
(me getting) 1st overall pick (Yakupov) + 4th overall pick (most likely another forward) + Shattenkirk
(me giving) Eberle + Pietrangelo + 6th overall pick

Keeper league (30 keepers), points only, weekly lineup of 12 forwards (any position), 6 defensemen and 2 goalies (2*wins + 2*shutouts + 1*OTL).

I finished next to last this previous season, and the other guy finished last. I have a young team (Giroux, Eberle, Skinner, Seguin, Karlsson, Pietrangelo, etc).

I have a hard time letting go of those 2 guys mainly because of what they already accomplished (76 points for Eberle, 50+ for Pietrangelo). I know the difference of points between Shattenkirk and AP is not that big (less than 10 last season), still...

    Thoughts?

    Thanks!

    Thanks for doing this Angus!

Please rank the following (2 points for a goal, one point for an assist, just for next season)...

    Sharp
    Duchene
    Pominville
    Semin
    Riberio
    Parise

If you had to pick one goalie between Bryzgalov, and Mike Smith in a keeper who would it be? (for wins and shutouts only)

    Thanks again!
