I'm biased...but Marty St. Louis is who I'd go for. His resume speaks for itself...and 99% of the league cant touch him when it comes to work ethic. He'll be back around 90 this season.
My 2nd pick is coming up and then after this pick I don't draft for rounds 3 and 4 but get two 5th rounders.
My team
C: Malkin c/rw, Backstrom,
LW: E.Kane, Lucic
Rw:
D
UT:Zetterberg c/lw
G:Hiller,
available RW's
Martin St. Louis getting old but before last season he had like 90 points
Backes c/rw lots of PIM +/- is great should be around 30/30 for points
Skinner c/rw young guy on a team that got better over the offseason. 30/40
Hossa injury concern but had a heck of a season
Gaborik recovering from surgury. 40 goals is awesome, but he wont be starting the season correct?
Pavelski c/rw dependable and you know what you're getting 30/30 lots of PPP's and SOG
Heatley lw/rw disappointing last few seasons... but now has parise
Yakupov probably low impact for my team but i have no idea about this guy
Semin lw/rw now that he is traded do we see 40 goals again?
Eriksson lw/rw improves every year
Pominville
Lupul lw/rw point per game until injured, playing with kessel
Simmonds high PIM lots close to 30 goals and on the the PP
Only 10 options allowed for polls though so I'll nix lupul and yakupov.
who do you prefer @ RW with these stats: G, A, +/-, PIM, SOG, PPP 12 teamer H2H

Another vote for MSL but Id also be intrigued to see what kind of goalies are available at that point. You have a pretty good basis for forwards that I dont think you need to pick a RW just for the sake of it.
If you are just considering one-year production: MSL.
A good one-year man + future keeper consideration: Pavelski.
Pure keeper consideration: Yakupov.
It depends on how many players you "KEEP".
Your team looks very strong at forward, so I'd be inclined to draft to win this year.
MSL.
I'm going out on a limb and predict that Ericksson out scores all of them this year. A full year with Benn and Jagr or Whitney. Benn is one year older and ready to REALLY break out, proving that last year was no fluke, and Ericksson will be along for the ride himself.
Shortly behing Eriksson would definitely be MSL and Pavelski as mentioned above. (in that order)
Keeper league - Yakupov. No doubt.
1 year league - MSL, Skinner, Erickson
13 team Keeper, top 8F, 4D and 2G count. 1pt G/A, 2pt W/SO.
Protect up to 500 points in a full season
(K) denotes keeper
Keepers:
F: Draisaitl, Thompson, Thomas, Zuccarello, Konecny, Marchessault Ehlers, O'Reilly, Tarasenko, Perron, Coronato, Seguin, Atkinson, Rossi, Michkov
D: Q Fox, Sergachev, Dobson, York, Hutson
G: Vasilevsky, Jarry, Levi
our keepers go by keeper points. 5 Kp for goalies, 3 KP forwards, 2KP for D and 1 for players under 82 games. I get a total of 15 KP's
If I draft a goalie instead, i'll miss out on any good RW's since I miss rounds 3 and 4.
available goalies though
Brodeur, Lehtonen, Kiprusoff, Luongo, Varlamov, Holtby, Lindback, Anderson, Vokoun, Bernier, Neuvirth. Most teams already have 2 goalies though.
I won last year and had RW's like pavelski and simmonds.

Since you won last year I am guessing you want to repeat so I think you have no choice but to take St. Loius.
Derek Reese - Future Hall of Famer

G - Saros, Rittich

Prospects - Byfield, Mercer, Veleno, Chmelevski, Tippett, Comrie, Tomasino, Valimaki, Gustavsson, Wolf
St-Louis is the safe bet for sure but if you want to test out the size of your cojones pick Gaborik, I hate the Rangers but they have never been more potent and their offensive depth will create coverage nightmares for opposing coaches.
As an aside, Staal will be there from day one and their yound top 4 D can only get better.
League: 16 team Roto, 12 keepers, 23 man roster, 10 player farm 52 NHL games played max

I went with MSL.
I would have loved to pick Gaborik, but I'm pretty sure he isn't starting the season and is still recovering from surgury.
Thanks for the input guys
shouldve gone with yaks he wont play all 82 games so he will cost significantly less.
A little to late for this but I was stuck between MSL and Eriksson. I think MSL is better for this year and maybe next but Eriksson will be the better long term keeper but if Eriksson isn't a keeper for you then MSL is the way to go.
