Looks like I made some really smart picks... not! Klefbom not doing anything, Bartschi not doing anything, Larsson sucking, Bjugstad... ****! These guys are dragging down my team. I still can't believe I picked Schwartz over Kuznetsov, idk what possessed me to do such a thing.

I checked everywhere for like 2 days. I seen that Makarov was going to be the starter BS. Did you see different somewhere?

I took Kuznetsov and Strome seemed like two obvious picks to me but they weren't taking very much. The rest of my team is sucking, but those 2 might be enough to get me top 10.

No. I looked and asked around right up until puck drop and most people felt that Makarov would be the starter. I knew that Vasilevski would get the starts and had the experience and skill to lead this team (even though he's young) but I didn't have the balls to make that risky selection. Hindsight: I need to grow some balls and make the bold picks (Vasilevski, Gusev, Friberg, etc.)

It's go bold or go home. I've been going relatively safe the past 2 years. I haven't won. Top 5 in both though.

I also saw Makarov was starting everywhere. I bailed out and picked Campbell and Visentin in the end. Didn't know how it would go so I just didn't risk it. I'll update tomorrow (no Excel on this new comp of mine :/ but I have it on my laptop)

Wow, what a ridiculous score in the RUS/LAT game. 9 points for Kuz... insane. Turns the whole scoring race upside down.

Goaltending was tough to choose this year, especially if you were not sold completely on either Vis or Wedgewood (like me). Campbell was the only easy choice but Sweden was a close second in terms of a clear starter, so I went with Gustafsson.

I need to stop trying to get cute with some of my weaker team player picks and just try and snag the CAN/SWE/USA/RUS to the max.

I feel with you bud. Picked exactly the same guys and went with Granlund over Kuz cause i thought i could use another Russian spot then and layed an egg picking the Russian that didn´t make the roster..

And Kuznetsov owners rejoice. vandaly starts to run away in this one owning 4 of the big group in Kuznetsov, Gusev (both at 9 points), Stone and Huberdeau (7) missing only Strome to complete the dominance 5. He leads with 71, 6 more then the 2nd place group.



I also fixed Zucker, thanks to Big_Ev for that.
