Boo-rns. I’m still going to rep my friends Malkin jersey on Saturday. Prolly will rep it on Friday at the Pirates game.

Malkin will not play. He could be back for game 4 the earliest i think.

I bet if game 2 goes the Penguins way, and game 3, then we don't see Malkin until game 7/next series. Which really, is just sensible.

Makes sense. They have done alright without Malkin this time so far.

Today the Pens officially laid to rest their " Vegas Gold" color era and have now converted both home and away jersey's to their retro look for all games going forward.

Thank christ...that Vegas gold was awful. The retro look was always much better.

Curious what pens fan think of Jarry's chances going forward.

Does he eventually challenge for top dog ?
Consider Sim Hockey because guys who play shutdown minutes, deflect shots and clear creases build championships. Yet in fantasy they litter the unwanted UFA lists.

I think he has the skill to challenge for the top spot. The big question comes down to opportunity.

This is simply my guess, but I can see Jarry stepping up in a similar fashion that Murray did. He will take advantage of an injury to show he's a quality NHL goalie and force the Penguins to make another decision. I don't know what way it will go from there, but that's my guess on how he will take the biggest step to becoming a regular NHL goalie.

No. I don't think his talent level is anything close to Murray.

I've followed TJs career closely and this i agree with. Harry is a terrific goalie. Hopefully there's an opportunity there or somewhere else.
    He's that good.
