HIL's Weekly Challenge Pool, 2011/12

Greetings everyone,

With training camps opening up, it's time to start gearing up for another Fantasy Hockey season.

Again, I will be putting on the Weekly Challenge pool, where you will pick one player for each "week" of the NHL season. There are 30 "weeks" (26 regular season "weeks", plus four playoff "weeks"), starting with week one on October 6th-16th; afterwards each regular season "week" will run from Monday to Sunday thru the end of the season. All selections must be made by the time the puck drops for the first game of that week.

Your Weekly Challenge squad will be made up of the following:
18 Forwards
09 Defencemen
03 Goalies

Points will be awarded on the following basis:
Skaters: 1 pt for a Goal or Assist
Goalies: 2 pts for a win, plus 1 pt for a Goal or Assist

Once you select a player from a team, you may not select another player from that team later in the season. Example: If you choose F Alex Ovechkin, you can not select another Washington player later.

If you select wisely, you will carry four teams into the playoffs; one for each round.

The champion at the end of the 2011/2012 season will recieve a Championship trophy.
