Yes that we were intrested in the offseason but no longer are. Tallon is trying to build the right way and is not very keen on moving pieces just yet especially with Matheson looking good in the AHL. The Peg player i am hearing way more about is actually Andrew Ladd.

I have a feeling these two teams will be making a deal before the deadline.. With both Ladd and Byfuglien being ex players of Tallon in Chicago, he knows what they bring to the table..

Maybe but who would they give up? The cost for either one of Ladd or Byfuglien is going to be really high

I think Byfuglien will definitely be more coveted then Ladd.. Obviously they are both UFA's, so the Jets really aren't in the drivers seat here.. The hope is multiple teams are interested in these guys and its s bidding war..

I think Florida is just fine without these guys, but Florida also needs to show their fans they are trying.. The ultimate goal is to get more butts in the seats at the arena.. And winning definitely does that!!

Not a very good game. The last 20 years we would have lost but i take it.

Still nowhere near a fraud win, the scoring chances weren´t there for Ottawa and the Panthers had some qualities chances. FOW must get better to maintain the winstreak though.

Wow this must be one of the most biased articles i´ve ever read on hockey in a long time. It´s so clear that the author has not watched the games at all and is only focusing on stats and comparing them with the success of Calgary and Colorado over these last two season to find a pattern. He intentionally leaves out the differences between the teams successes and ignores the stats he needs to ignore to make this article as one-sided as possible.

What a great rant keytolife! I just stumbled upon this now. Welcome to analytics. Stats can be manipulated to whatever message you are trying to convey. I prefer to watch the game and make my own assessment, even though it may be flawed.

Sadly the win-streak has ended but the point streak is still alive. The refs did their best these last games.Gallants mom passed away last week so he said he wasn´t 100% on point these last 3 games.
Mike Kelly will step in for the rest of the trip.

Ekblad was out which nailed the coffin tonight IMO, plus that bad penality in OT.Hendricks got 3 games for it at least. Oh how i hate Oilers with passion. But i´m still proud of my team. But the faceoff troubles continue and we only got 4 pp minutes in 4 games now.

THe Gud: Guds was awesome, Huby shooting, Barky with the skate pass

What to say after such a game? Move on. No single one worth to be mentioned. Ekblad was missed but might be out longer.

Two losses in a row is hurting. They need to get back on track and fast.

We are missing Ekblad like crazy and with Guds out as well the other D man need to lock heavy minutes. PP is dead and we lack the defense we rely on so much. We need another D and a upgrade for either Shaw or Pirri IMO.

The Ugly: Jagr and Hubs have disappeared, Kuli can´t shoulder Nr.1 defensive minutes, Pirri is worthless and Tro is playing like crap.
