I'd take Lehner over Markstrom any day. Markstrom just can't seem to put it together, for whatever reason. His play this year is not inspiring confidence.

Before everyone dumps on Markstrom, remember that he is still only 23 years old... on a bad team, with a horrible defence in front of him. Almost nobody makes the NHL as a starter at that age, let alone has immediate success. Not saying he is a guaranteed stud, I just think that this year is a development year for the kid and things will probably look ugly when you check out his stat-line at the end of the year. Too soon to read much into it though given all of the circumstances.

Decided to revive this. So if you got any questions on the Kittens go ahead and ask them. I will do my best to answer them.

What a brutal off-season once again for the Panthers, especially after it looked like they were on the right track the last few years. But Bolland for $5.5 a year for 5 years? What is this the Leafs? That's stupid money

    Bolland got what he wanted.

And yes, Florida went crazy with some deals. Does it matter anyways? They HAD to spend money.

For those of you intrested in prospects. Prospect camp has started and the main two observations so far from all Blogs are that Barkov seems healthy and Grimaldi was by far the most outstanding guy on day 1.

I think this has been talked about in places but I was curious to hear what people thought about kulikov entering this season. What role will he play, what points can we expect from him?

    thanks all

Have they even re-signed him yet? Weird how it was a forgone conclusion that he was going to be traded at the deadline. Smart move not to. Especially now.

They´ll most certainly Keep him. It would hold my horses with Kuli he will be solid but he will never become an elite fantasy producer. His second half looked way better then the first.

Shortly after asking that, I read online that Tallon and Kulikov's camp are talking contract extension. I'm telling you, they're gonna be filthy.

KeytoLife - Much love for being the voice of the Panthers!

I own two Panthers - Huberdeau and Campbell.

I'm worried about both of them -

I own a BUNCH of prospects - Hubs, Galchenyuk, Yakupov, Granlund, MacKinnon, Tarasenko - and I am getting to the point where I need to "shit or get off the pot" on some of them. Where is Hubs on Florida/Tallon/Gallant's radar, and is he progressing or regressing?

Campbell was my best defenceman two years ago - is he going to recover, as Florida recovers? Or is he just on the decline as a player and it is unrelated to Florida's woes last year?
