Welcome. Former Panthers fan here. Ownership in Florida do not know how to build a good team. They draft solid and trade all talent away because they can't afford them. Enjoy years of excitement and development paired with never making the playoffs. Sorry

What talent did we trade away in the first place? That team sucked at drafting for ages and had no talent to trade away. Drafting has been getting better IMO. I am a fan since day 1 so i am aware of the gutter that this franchise is.

Good point. Look at the drafts: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...rs_draft_picks

If anything, the Panthers have been overly loyal to guys they drafted -- never dealing them, even when maybe they should've (Booth, Horton, J-Bo) until it was too late.

Things seem to be on the upswing for the Cats. I like the way the team is trending. I just hope they make noise while Lou is there to be a significant part of it.

Finally a win again. But i donīt think this is a playoff team. BEst shootout iīve ever seen though.

The Gud:Trochek woke up again. Pirri with a good game on the top line, Ekblad and last but not least our best player Barkov
THe Blad: Huby was okay, Glad Brickley is back, Lu was meh
The Ugly: Mitchell is officially done IMO, Campbell had another bad one too, Jagr hurt.

Another crap game but another win.

The Gud: Reilly Smith with a great game, Brickley and Olsen also with nice games.
The Blad: Barkov with a brutal mistake but otherwise good, Huberdeau with a nice assists otherwise he was not on the ice( or i did not see him), Pirri is not hitting the net but he at least tries.
    The Ugly:Mitchell was bad again,

THis was a great game. Might have been our best this season. 3 game winning streak. The highest we had in the last 5 years. So no chance we win the next.

The Gud: Brickley ( pls just leave him in the lineup the kid is great), McKenzie with two goals, Barkov with a great game again, Pirri finally scored again. Lu with a good one
The Blad:Huberdeau looked better, still snakebitten though
The Ugly: Bjugstad upper body injury..

How about Jagr? Does he still look like he could be playing another 2-3 years?

He has slowed down latley. That does not mean he nothing left in the tank. He will play as long as he wants to IMO. And that goes hand in hand with playtime. He will continue to get his points.

Does it look like Lou will be starting? Montoya sure hasn't played much.

Sorry for the late answer. I always miss these because of the time difference to over here in Europe.

    Monty should probably start tomorrow.

THis team wins 4 in a row. A rare rare sight. Our defense looked great again while we still struggle to score goals.

The Gud: The Gud! Gudbranson is developing really good atm, Kamper is currently beating out PEtro IMO, Ekblad and Lu with stellar games, Barkov and our 4th line defensifly.
The Blad: Huberdeau passed the puck in the net for the first time in a decade it feels, he had no other passing lane open though, lets see if this turns it arround for him.
The Ugly: Our faceoff percentage was brutally low.

No worries. I started Lou on my team anyways and helped me big time in GAA. Yeah don't see Florida starting him back to back, time to get Montoya some ice time.

    Thanks for the reply!

In future, goaliepost and/or leftwinglock are your friends. I find that Florida's goalie starts are usually known in advance, given that I own Luongo and I live in Europe as well, which helps for early planning.

Five in a row for the first time since 2008. How a team can win five in a row with only scoring 2 games per night is beyond me.

    The Gud: Ekblad,Monty,Gudbranson, Kampfer
THe Blad: 4th line, KUli was rusty,
THe Ugly: Barkov with his worst game, Jagr playing crappy, Huberdeau, Pirri oh most of the guys actually.
