It was a great game! I do feel badly about Stepan's injury though. Hate seeing the injuries.

Seth Griffith, Tyler Randell and Tim Schaller placed on waivers today. Have my doubts that Griffith clears.

    Also via McKenzie:

BOS expressed some interest in signing PTO D Christian Ehrhoff to contract but knowing he's not in B's Top 6, Ehrhoff has opted to go home.

With Bergeron back, any idea if the Backes-Krejci-Spooner line from preseason is going to be put back together or if Heinen sticks there and Spooner goes to centr line 3?

They can't line up Spooner alongside Krecji to help possibly jump start both players? I get that Spooner is not really down with playing wing, but methinks he'd be okay with it if it meant the difference between a seat in the press box and a spot on the ice.

Can someone predict the lines next year?

    What we know......

    Marchand - Bergeron - ?????/Pastrnak
    ??????? - Krejci - Pastrnak/???????

Does Backes center the third line and or play the wing? Or switch back and forth depending on the game?

    Does Bjork make the team?!

here's what im hearin in and around dev. camp

Pasta will probably be line 2 with Krejci

per the B's coach, and as he said im just spitballin here:

Backes they are thinkin 3C with possibly JFK on his wing with Vatrano/Spooner?

They are lookin to spread the talent around so 1st line could have a young rookie on the RW , possibly Bjork? as he played RW in Notre Dame.

Also another rookie on Krejci LW , maybe Debrusk as he had a good 1st year in the A

Some of this was comin from coach and some is my own speculation so take it as u will.

I did hear that Bjork looked the most polished out of all players at camp so i think he has a good shot at makin the team.

Of course this all depends on how things progress in camp this Sept. stay tuned
