Tough day yesterday for the Bruins.. Very tough seeing Iggy go, but atleast he went to the West and not Tampa!!

Parity sucks. No more dynasties thanks to the salary cap. Screw you NHL. I hate you. See you in October.

So are the Bruins fine now or do they need to do more?

I would say they are fine because the Bruins play a team game.. Individuals don't lead this team, it takes a collective effort to win every night..

Losing Iggy hurts but Loui Erikkson can step up into his role.. Shawn Thornton leaving actually makes the Bruins better on the ice..

The biggest addition will be Dennis Seidenberg, his injury killed the B's last year..

One of my leagues counts hits and blocked shots, he's money when you add those two factors in, that's part of what makes him so valuable to the team

He also logs big minutes, kills penalties, and is amazing playing alongside Chara..

Spooner's spot this year? 3rd line center maybe. Kelly moves to wing. Or does Spooner move to wing because i can't see him spend another year in the AHL. I like his speed which the Bruins could use up front. Just don't see him useful in a 3rd or 4th line situation.

I actually feel like Tuuka's stats might improve now that better guys will be in front of him.

Not to say that Boychuk sucked by any means but Boston knows what they're doing and they wouldn't let go of a D man if they felt he wasn't expendable.

Considering the Bruins lack of depth on the wing, this is a surprise.

More moves coming with the new available cap space?

not a surprise here as the Bruins felt Caron had his chances to make his mark in the lineup but management thinks Fraser has earned his spot at 3rd line RW as he has had a great camp and they also want to fit Spooner in the lineup.

The fandom was not happy with Caron sticking either!

I dont see any more deals as i think they use the cap space to give Krug and Smith new contracts later this year and other UFA's next year.
