I traded Rask at the wrong time I think. I got a good return, but boy this team is starting to put it together.

Hey there B's fans, was hoping to get some takes on McAvoy, both present and future.

Who would you compare him to and is he going to be more of a solid 2 way D man or an offensive guy? Best guess at the next three years point totals? My league is points only so that's all I'm interested in. Seems like Krug is pretty entrenched as PPQB but is there still room for McAvoy to rack up points?

I may be acquiring C Mac in a trade but really haven't watched much of him

    Thanks!!

And Heinen blew past all of them. What a player and talk about a late bloomer who comes out of literally nowhere.

Well Bruin fans get used to the "new" Rick Nash. Guy is always on the move, digging, moving, getting back into the play. The 200 foot game.

    Then he gets great looks.

    Ping, it hits the crossbar
Consider Sim Hockey because guys who play shutdown minutes, deflect shots and clear creases build championships. Yet in fantasy they litter the unwanted UFA lists.

Down 4-1 and then 5 goals in the 3rd period to win 6-4 over Carolina.. Huge win but both Chara and Krug left the game..

And Pastrnak gets a 3rd period hat trick. Sucks for people playing him this week.

Don't look now but the Boston Bruins are just two points behind Tampa Bay with a game in hand and they still have to play each other twice!!

At one point this season the Bruins and Leafs looked to be definitely meeting in the first round.. I'm thinking the Leafs would hate to see the Lighting in the first round..
    Keep winning B's!!

What's the take on Ryan Donato? My one-year league has a rule where you have to have one rookie rostered at all times and he's currently the guy I have. Do I have a gem here? Or would someone like Kotkaniemi be better

I love Donato, and in a multicat would keep him over Kotk in a one yearI think he?ll pretty quickly progress to becoming a focal point of the Bs attack and will be a G/ SOG guy. In a 1-year Ibthink Donato is the guy. That said Kotk has a higher points ceiling and will get way more opportunity, and if he sticks past 9 games and word is he’s staying for the entire season, then he?s likely your guy. If you have to decide now, I stick with Donato.

Thanks Ross! This league is a multi-cat league and it adds weight to players that are heavy in SOG, Goals, Hits, etc. so I feel like Donato might be the pick for me here. Kotkaniemi is still available right now if I want him but I can't imagine him being on the wire much longer.

After I posted I altered my advice, mainly due to the fact it?s a one-year - I think if the decision needs to be made now, Donato is the far safer choice, esp in a multicat.
