    Poll: Re: Veto Worthy Trade?

I hate vetoing powers in a keeper league. In my opinion if you have two managers that agree to do the deal and it doesn't break any roster rules, why not? I personally think this deal is fair, but it...

Re: Yahoo gave Bishop a SO last night?!

Yeah what a kill joy for me. In a dog fight for first with .4 points behind first. (this is without Bishops SO as our commissioner already informed me he was removing the points. My opponent...

Re: Did I make a big mistake?

Not a big fan of Staal as he has been slipping with every year and Nichuskin's upside is very high. A high price, you did upgrade your goalie, and picked up a hot rookie in kuznetsov. Its one of...

    Poll: Re: Bishop v Smith

I think tampa's goaltending pool is going to be as good as Anahiem really soon with both Vasileski and Gudlevskis coming along. I had Smith and Bishop on my team for a time, and I dropped Smith....

That looks very interesting. I would go see that.
  6. Re: Big Johnny Tavares Trade, which option do you like?

That is tough as Karlsson is the crosby of D man, but stamkos is definitely one of those players that I would gladly trade tavares if I could get my hands on him. I think either choice is a good...

    Re: Crosby Trade

Sounds like the hype on Kuznetsov is what swayed the deal as it was just reported he is making arrangements to come to washington to stay with Ovechin. Oh well life moves on. Sorry you didn't get...

    Re: Tavares replacement

Yikes that's not a great list other then Duchene. You can probably get Mikko on the cheaper side, but if he pushes for Mackinnon only take Duchene. If he won't part with Duchene then stay firm on...

    Re: Offer for Hedman

You can try, but I have a feeling if the GM approached you explicitly to grab Hedman he might not take Carlson as Green has a slight edge over him in terms of points (Green 30pts - Carlson 23 pts)...

    Re: Crosby Trade

Khudobin is a better goalie right now then Scrivens, but unlike Scrivens, Khudobin has to deal with the Golden Boy Ward while Scrivens only has Bryzgalov to deal with. Which isn't much of a...

    Re: Offer for Hedman

Based on your league I am slightly edging to say no. Hedman looks like he is finally breaking out and while Bobrovsky is a upgrade over Ward for you, the 1 Point for your backup goalie kills the...

    Re: Crosby Trade

I think that is a solid offer. There is a slight gamble with Scrivens, but if he emerges as the starter that Edmonton has been hoping then you're laughing at the end of this deal. Even after getting...

    Re: Rinne

He has been sent down to the AHL for conditioning. Expected to play 2 games then be recalled. Trotz has already said he might be able to start during the pred's 5 game home stand.

    Re: Offers for Tavares

At the moment good starting goalies are scares, the only two worth noting is Rinne, and Miller. I'm watching Pekka Rinne's health carefully as I can take on his cap hit if I remove johnson and...

    Offers for Tavares

Well the phone keeps on ringing on Tavares and I have had two offers from two GM's and need some input.

First off my league is a 15 team cap Keeper league. We can keep anyone on our roster for 3...

Re: Why is everyone trading Tavares?

That is a good trade on you're end for sure. Duchene has the potential to be a top 10 player, but Tavares is already top 5 so good on you.

    Re: Kucherov and Jaskin Opinions

I own Jaskin, but given the two I would go with Kucherov, the kid is so dynamic, I can see him putting in 70-80 pts down the road. Jaskin reminds me of Landeskog a bit. He can put in the points, but...

Re: Why is everyone trading Tavares?

I know when Tavares's injury was known, my cell nearly exploded with other GM's in my keeper league inquiring to what I wanted for him. I'm in the lead by a mere 2 points in the league, and just...

    Re: Trade Pomminville/Kadri for Landeskog?

I agree Landeskog is a better player then Kadri. I imagine you might have to add more to that deal I know if I was the landeskog owner I wouldn't take Pominville and kadri for landeskog.

Re: Michael Del Zotto and Tyler Myers

Maybe but not this year, as MDZ is third pairing in nasvhville, and Myers is well....Myers. I would look elsewhere for scoring. Roman Josi or Jack Johnson come to mind.

    Re: Shattenkirk, Trouba & Yandle

Tough choice for points only. I would say Shattenkirk at the moment with Yandle being a close second. With that said Trouba's potential is huge, and might be easier to grab then the other two.

    Re: Sekera or Trouba

Trouba as well. It's remarkable he has played this well at a young age. His scoring and hitting abilities give me the feeling he could be a Shea Weber type player.

Re: Lost Letang, which one to pick up ?

I would second Josi. Huge minutes and PP time. Everything you want from a Offensive D man.

Erhroff - Buffalo team that doesn't score that much.

Visnovsky - He could be a potential choice, but...

    Re: Calvin de Haan?

Been watching him for a while as he played with Taveres back in Oshawa from my understanding. Picked him up as soon as he started putting up some points and hits/block shots. He's looking good so far.
