    Elias back at practice today.
No word on if he'll play tomorrow but a good sign nonetheless

Re: Evander Kane or Sean Monahan

Kane. Only time you could argue Monohan is in pts only salary cap leagues.

    Re: Barrie

With the new leadership in Colorado, I have no idea what their plan is as far as developing defencemen goes. Maybe they will go against the norm and give more journeymen a chance to contribute and...

    Bob or Rask tonight?

Bob has a more favorable matchup (vs NYR) but Boston is hot right now and so solid (@COL).
Bob is also on the second night of a B2B.

    Thoughts?
    Thanks.

Re: List your terrible decisions of the year

Thought the Sedins would not suck this bad.
Had Del Zotto in 2 leagues but dumped him in both by the Olympics.
Really thought Colin Wilson would emerge as Nashville's best fwd and put up 55+.
  7. Re: Next year and beyond - Stewart or Iginla

In most leagues I can't see Stewart as a valuable commodity so I'd definitely trade him for the immediate help of Iggy.
  8. Re: Help down the stretch (pick one - rep)

    Thanks Dobber

    Down to the following options:
    Zajac+Frolik+McGinn
    Plekanec+McGinn+Coyle
    Hemsky+Shaw+Coyle
  9. Help down the stretch (pick one - rep)

    Pts only:

    Plekanec
    Zajac
    Fleischmann

    thnx in advance

    Re: Spezza to be traded?

[QUOTE=Big Ev;1244392]He isnt a number one centre, that's the point. If he played like joe Thornton fine, but he doesn't.

Turgid, zibanejad, smith, lazar if needed is good enough.

    Re: David Rundblad

Don't really like this situation for him either but the fact Chicago gave up a second is encouraging as far as his perceived value.
  13. Re: Is Phil kessel upgrade over Taylor Hall?

    With plus minus, yes.

Only way I'd choose Hall is if it were salary cap, pts only dynasty.

Re: Whatever happened to Eric Staal ?

Needs to click with Semin or Skinner for close to an entire season to get back to 80. Hasn't happened consistently this year.
  15. Re: Pick 2 D-man For Remainder of Season - Enstrom, Goligoski, Hamilton, Myers, Timonen, Spurgeon!

    Goligoski and Timonen.
Decent teams, plenty of ice time and PP time.

    Re: Spezza to be traded?

Good luck trying to fill that number one center role and replace his scoring if he leaves. Tough to move on from players like that. I don't see the depth in theIr organization to build a contender...

    Re: [TRADE] Goc to Pittsburgh

Sutter/Stemp/Goc/Jokinen give them some great versatility.

Loved this too as a Kuemper owner.
Would the Pens go after an insurance goalie?

Re: Rundblad traded to the Blackhawks

Agreed it seems steep for his struggles thus far. Doesn't seem to fit with what the Hawks need right now. I think he needs to go somewhere where he can afford to make mistakes and learn ie a...
  20. Re: Help - with emphasis on this year please (rep)

    Thanks.
I guess Jokinen's current owner has him for 1.6 due to some previous transactions so I've begun trade talks to acquire him.
Chiasson can be sent back to the farm and I could simply pick...

    Re: Nash - Pavelski

Ugh I want to drink the pavelski kool-aid but history would probably tell you he's a little old to expect a huge breakout with sustained ppg type succes.
On the other hand Nash has always been a...
  22. Re: Marty St. Louis believed to have asked for a trade

I wouldn't call MSL a baby either. Could be down to his last season next year. I'd at he's earned the right to ask to be closer to his family to test out if he'd keep playing if he was closer to his...
  23. Help - with emphasis on this year please (rep)

Trying to hang onto my lead in a salary cap league (pts only). It is a keeper but I'm most concerned about this season as I wouldn't consider any of these guys part of my strong core.

    Desharnais...
  24. Re: Marty St. Louis believed to have asked for a trade

Maybe he's wanted to be closer to his family for a while and the snub was the final nail in the coffin to bring this up firmly to Yzerman. Even if all is better as far as those hurt feelings go but...
  25. Re: Marty St. Louis believed to have asked for a trade

Sorry for quoting something a few pages back but I agree with this. You have 14fwd spots. I get the whole "how does he fit" argument but you're looking at the reigning art ross trophy winner,...

    Re: Letang's Value Moving Forward

Any league that has some nice options to stick multiple guys on IR at a time and what not make him a lot more valuable too.

His contract says he'll probably never be bumped off the number one pp...

Re: Rebuilding, what goalies to target?

    No love for Bobrovsky here?

CLB may not be the most intriguing team but I think he's the superior talent to a lot of names already mentioned. Of course the asking price will be higher than anyone...

    Re: Latest Team Canada Lines

I thought Kunitz actually looked decent when moved off of Crosby's wing and that's why he's staying in the line up. If it were up to me I'd still probably sit him but I'm not mad they're sticking...

    Re: Kreider vs. Krug

I'm not sold Kreider will be a PIM machine and he needs to entrench himself beside a ppg player to have any hope of being a really really good pts guy.

Krug looks like a mainstay on the B's top PP...
