That's just a damn great line, and equally unique explanation....

What makes Elliotte great?

1. I read it in his calm voice and tone.
2. He does not read like he has ANY bias at all and gives a fair opinion on people.

Outstanding hockey writer.

It certainly is a great line and it sums up the attitude about head shots around the league

this is the most impressive thing about his writing. Its nice to read an article without immediately knowing which team the writer supports.

really wish there was an RSS feed for his column.
