What makes Elliotte great?

1. I read it in his calm voice and tone.
2. He does not read like he has ANY bias at all and gives a fair opinion on people.

Outstanding hockey writer.

this is the most impressive thing about his writing. Its nice to read an article without immediately knowing which team the writer supports.
