He never came back, sat out the shoot-out too.

Leafs still lost, because they suck. That is all.

He came back for a shift. They showed him on the bench telling the trainer he was fine. Guessing they sat him since he just came back from a concussion. Can't tell if he would've went in the shootout as Neal and Crosby are always the Pens first 2 and they didn't need a 3rd.

Edit: Bylsma said it was precautionary, but they will evaluate him later.

He was out of the shootout, it was Neal, Crosby and Letang.

That's the latest I found.

Evgeni Malkin was held out of overtime because of an upper-body injury.
The Penguins say this was strictly precautionary and was "not a head injury," though it's only natural to worry a little more than normal because he just got back from a concussion. The injury occurred on a hit by James van Riemsdyk. Malkin had an assist in 19:36 of ice time.

He's not in today.

@kdpomp: Vokoun in goal tonight and Malkin will not play but word is it is not a concussion.
