Kopitar for Malkin?
 

I was just sent a trade offer.

I get - Malkin / Halak

I trade - Kopitar


Whats holding me up is the fact that my league has no position restrictions and Kopitar and the Kings are starting to get hot. The addition of Halak is nice but I have Quick, Howard & Holtby plus Brodeur on IR. Dont really need another goalie.

What do you think? Am I crazy for not hitting accept already? Also just to help FOW are .3 points so Kopitar has that advantage as well. So technically 10 FOW is worth a goal.

I may be crazy but wouldnt it be smarter to convince him to take Staal over Kopitar?

This is my first year following hockey. So all I have to go on is what they are doing for me right now.

This trade makes absolutely no sense, have him take Paul Bissonette for Malkin - who cares if you give up Kopitar or Staal you get two huge additions to your team.

Accept, hope it doesn't get vetoed, then trade a tender to a team that needs one.

Holy Moses! I assumed you were talking about Eric Staal, but I see from your roster it's Jordan. If he'll really take either Kopi or J Staal, give him Jordan (fickle SHPs be damned) and just get the trade done.

In terms of which goalie to drop, I'd probably drop Marty B. Holtby has been playing much better of late and I personally don't trust Marty to stay completely healthy ... but that's a secondary point. Just lock that trade down first (whether it's Kopi, Staal, etc. from your side).

P.s. Malkin is playing again tonight so the window on this could shut in like 90 minutes!
