Pick my Keepers and Help Me Win (Rep given)
 

Hey DobberNation,

I'm currently first in my league. It's a 14 team daily head to head points league (stats are in my signature). I'm currently in first and I'm hoping to stay that way and win the league this year.

So with that in mind I'm trying to figure out who my keepers are currently and if I can improve my teams chances to win. We can keep either 8 or 10 keepers (this year only). Of the teams that keep 8, they get to enter a short "keeper draft" or rounds Zero A and Zero B before our actual draft to make up the remaining keeper spots. Similar to how some NFL leagues work.

By my count I have between 14-16 keeper potential players, so I assume I'll be keeping ten. We also keep ten minor players and by pure luck I am able to keep Ryan Nugent-Hopkins under that as players under 110 games can be kept as minors.

My minors I think will be Shore, RNH, Tarasenko, Schultz, Morgan Rielly, Brodin, Forsberg, JT Miller, Eddie Lack, Kari Ramo

The obvious keepers are:

Ovechkin, Staal, Giroux, Lundqvist, Weber, Callahan (killer in my setup), Benn

Who fill my other 3 spots?

LW - Ovie, Koprikoski, Pactches, Benn
C - Staal, Thornton, Shore, Ott, Giroux
RW - Eberle, Hossa, Erat, Callahan, Neil
D - Weber, Giordano, Kulikov, OEL, Shatty, Seidenberg, A Greene, Wiz, Oduya
G - Lundqvist, Varlamov
Prospects - Schultz, Visetin, M Rielly, Lack, Brodin, RNH, Forsberg, D Shore, Lokt, Miller
IR-Tara, Mez

RNH and Tarasenko are eligible for my minors. I can keep them without having to burn one of my ten keeper spots.

then i'd add hossa and thornton to the mix - or thornton and callahan if RC is really money in this setup
