I'm Sick of Backstrom
 

He is just making me mad. So is Ryan, but that's a different story.

No peripherals and he isn't playing with OV, OV isn't OV, and I'm pissed.

I'm thinking about proposing my Backstrom and Suter + pick for his Couture and RNH.

What pick would that need to be? Too much or too little?

Id say it would need to be a 1st. No reason for the Couture/RNH owner to make that move at this point. Backstrom hasn't lived up to what he was for a few seasons now.

I'm pretty annoyed with Backstrom too. It seems like forever ago that he was a PPG player. But the reality is, it was last season. I say you remain patient with him. If that's not an option, you'd have to part ways with a high pick (as already mentioned)

I've heard a lot of relatively negative things about him especially this year. Everything from he's out of shape to he's playing hurt and not telling anyone. I don't think anyone has any idea what kinda team the Caps will be next year, it may take an offseason and full training camp for them to finally get Oates' system and click. If they continue to suck there may be big changes in personel in the offseason too. Alot of questions and unknowns!

If you're sick of him, I agree with robot in that that pick needs to be a 1st based soley on the fact that Backstrom did hit 100 points once upon a time. Beware of RNH though, brittle bones!
