Getting offers fast for Fasth : help
 

Team in signature. Building my keepers for next year. Not competing this year.

My 6 keepers would be: Backstrom, H.Sedin, Letang, Fleury, Schneider.
6th would be 1 of Schultz, Eberle, Landeskog

Fasth offer 1: Fasth, Schultz, Eberle / 4 Luongo, Kesler, Garrison
Luongo would be my 6th keeper.

Fasth offer 2: Fasth, Kunitz / 4 Varlamov, Moulson, Boyle

welcome all advice & thoughts

1. Eberle is your 6th keeper.
2. The first offer is brutal. The second offer is the way to go. If you really see the need to deal Fasth. It gives you some options and may put you into contention.

So with Yakupov on your roster I find it interesting that you aren't considering him as a possible keeper.

If you consider keepers for the moment I think Sedin is easily the guy you want to upgrade on, so I would only consider packages that give you a monster multicat forward.

Be interesting to see which studs the offering teams have on their roster because if they want Fasth then I think you have some serious leverage to find a big time keeper upgrade.

I don't think either of these deals do anything building keepers which is your focus. So I would pass.

Agree with Yardie that #2 is the right offer.

Confused with the first deal if you took it that Luongo would be your 3rd goalie keeper especially when you only keep 6. You start only 2 goalies so no real need for a 3rd G keeper. Eberle would be the more appealing keeper for me as well

one G/M has Giroux & Sharpe (Giroux is untouchable)
the other has Tavares, Seguin, Hartnell (Tavares is Untouchable)

if you're not competing this year, get an upgrade on your keepers (sell off whoever you need to outside of your current keepers unless you're making your team for next season better).

if you aren't getting an upgrade an your keepers, deal him for draft picks and future trade bait.

for me personally, neither deal makes you better for next season.

Start with Fasth, Sedin, Eberle and Schultz for Tavares and Giroux. Think falling back to Seguin might be the one deal you can get fasth/sedin, varly and seguin maybe? Then trade varly for a pick

Yeah maybe but they are the only deals that are going to make your team better, so why not try first. Fasth and Sedin for Sequin would be the fall back shot for me.

i agree with the sentiment that the original deals do nothing to help your keepers
