Getting tired of Ward and Varly

Ward and Varly got me stinkers last night. Didn't help that my opponent had Bryzgalov and Smith who both got shutouts last night. Anyone in waivers worth adding over them?

Holtby
Dubnyk
Backstrom
Lindback
Theodore
Pavelec
Nabokov
Scrivens

Thanks

I would stick with Ward and Varlamov.

I would stick with what you have.

Not even Dubnyk or maybe Backstrom?

I'd drop Varlamov for Backstrom for surrrrrre

Ward is doing awful and at this point I would consider going elsewhere with him. Varlamov is a must drop, that guy couldn't put up consistant numbers to save his life.

Backstrom has way higher potential than Varlamov. I would definatly make that move.

As for Ward, hold on to him a little longer, he may turn it around, and his back ups arn't good enough to steal much time from him.

If you can, maybe pick up a 3rd tender in Scrivens until Reimer is settled back into his role. I see Scrivens playing a lot if he stays consistant. Also on a young team, Dubnyk is definatly work a look. His numbers are strong, this is his first real kick at the cat, so I would definately pick up Scrivens until Reimer returns, then roll Dubnyk.

Well I have Rask as my third tender. Rolling with Rask, Ward and Varly for now. Debating if I should drop Varly for Dubnyk or Backstrom.

.

Question: How does a 35 year old goalie that is constantly injured have more potential than a 24 year goalie? Backstrom missed his last start do to an illness so there is no faith that he will even play game to game. Give me Varly any day! Right now Colorado has a lot of important bodies missing so Varly's numbers will hurt a bit but when Lando comes back and the O'Reily thing sorted out you will see Varly's numbers get better.

See my response on Backstrom.

Dubnyk is an upcoming goalie there is no diubt but until Edm get some guys who play defense Dubynks number will continue to suffer.

I guess I'm just a frustrated Varly and Ward owner...
