Will anyone get 70+ points this year?

During the previous shortened 48 game season, Jagr and Lindros tied for the first place in scoring with 70 points. Will anyone top that this season?

Currently only Vanek, Crosby, Stamkos and St.Louis are on pace for 70+ points. Can they keep up the pace?

In 94-95 the average goals per game was 5.97 where as this year it has been 5.55 so there's not quite as much scoring these days.

I think yes. Crosby is good enough to reach that mark,

Crosby is good enough but I don't think he will do it.

I vote no but the Crosby fanboy in me wants to say yes.

If he plays all 48, I can see Crosby hitting 70.

Crosby hits 70 if he plays all games (and Geno/Neal/Kunitz/Letang not missing too many games either)

Crosby

The kid may have the talent, but does anyone really believe he will play every game this year.

lucifer316 02-18-2013 10:21 PM

i think 70 points for a 48 game crosby is a given

i wonder if he cant hit 80 personally

Because the next hit/concussion may end his career.
