So with everyone calling Landeskog 'Lando' I started filling the Star Wars roster with NHLers... and then I thought, this would be more fun if it wasn't just me doing it by my lonesome.

So some prelimanary nominations:

Chewbacca played by: Bret Burns (no shocker there eh!)
Darth Vader played by: Gary Bettman - Prairie Dog
The Emperor played by:
C3P0 played by: Brad Richards - Chili Con Carne
R2-D2 played by: Martin St. Louis (the colours and size are close)
Obi-Wan Kenobi played by:
Lando Calrissian played by: Gabriel Landeskog (duh)
Yoda played by: Selanne - Nikw71
Jabba the Hut played by: Dustin Byfuglien - Carcillo (btw, loved this one!)

The Emperor played by: Gary Bettman

Luke Skywalker played by Luke Walker of the Colorado Avalanche

Yoda - Selanne. Oldest player in the NHL and a legend at that
Darth Vader - Hard to argue he is the most hated in the NHL. Lucic could be as well since he may be the strongest player in the NHL and is a mind**** to all teams especially Buffalo

C3PO played by Brad Richards - similar (dull) personalities.

Jabba the Hut - Dustin Byfuglien

Darth Maul: Clarkson (bad guy - and the jersey colors are simlpy extended over the face as well..)

Mace Windu : Iginla, hands down

Darth Sidious: Sid(ious) the Kid

BTW: This is abit off topic, but since we're talking similarities between movie characters and NHL players:

Did anyone else watching Zero Dark Thirty also see HARTNELL's twin in that senior CIA torturer (the one who likes monkeys and keeps repeating "if you lie to me, I hurt you"? Same face, same haircut (or rather uncut) :)
