Help me pick my keepers
 

Please help! I'm having trouble deciding which keepers to keep. We can keep 5 players.

I'm leaning towards Hamilton, Lawrie, Cueto, Profar and Bundy.

Should I keep Will Myers or Bauer over any of the above five? Any advice appreciated.

Your last keeper is a hard choice given the selection, they're all interchangeable. However, if those are the five best players you're keeping, you're gonna be in some serious rebuild mode and might want to just hold onto Myers as your team is a few years away from contending.

Is that Hanley Ramirez at SS?? I don't know how you don't keep him over Lawrie.

Just to clarify, we haven't had our draft yet this year. This was my team last year and I get to keep 5. Long term, obviously I love Profar and Bundy's potential and could keep them year after year. Is it worth it to keep them or should I keep Medlen, Lawrie, Hamilton, Cueto and Myers?

Here are my five, in order:

Hamilton
Lawrie
Profar
Cueto
Harvey

It's really hard not to keep Bundy, but Harvey and Cueto are already in the majors and aren't short on talent themselves.

However, Profar may be the best fantasy prospect currently in the minors. While he may open the season in the minors, he is expected to push Ian Kinsler to the outfield at some point in 2013 and gain eligibility at 2B. He's got a high ceiling and has the type of approach at the majors that translates to the majors. I'd keep him and reap the rewards for years to come.
