Goalie intentionally scores on own net

Goalie was fed up with his playing time, so with a couple of minutes left in the third, and his team up 2-1, he intentionally put the puck into his own net. He then flipped off the coaches, gave a salute, and left the ice.

I know he thinks he did a great form of protest, but way to let your teammates down. They ended up losing the game 3-2. The guy shouldn't be playing organized sports.

LOL...The Jagr salute.

What a dick...but still hilarious.

LOL, a comment on the article says "Can someone be the world's biggest douche and my hero at the same time"

Wow, tragic.

Respect...

Supposedly some of his teammates knew he was going to do it, sounds like there's a lot of spite for their coach. It was the talk of the town today here in Minny

Loch 02-14-2013 05:09 AM

... he actually did it because he heard that Bondon was going to take him in an upcoming keeper draft. He figured if he was doomed to horrendous stats and goalie purgatory he'd go out on his own terms. Gotta respect that.

No seriously though, a full on slapper would have really spiced it up a notch.

Wow, tragic.

This is how I feel about Batman.

Oh... what a great story.
Reminds of one of my favourite scenes (27 sec) from Family Guy recently:

"High School is such a serious thing, these problems matter."

And here is the video of it!
