Drew Shore vs Cody Eakin
 

I have an open farm spot and am looking for a guy to cycle in, which one would you choose based on circumstance to succeed (sleeper value) and upside?

I'd go with Shore. He has higher potential and is in a good situation in Florida.

Shore seems to be manning line two whilst Eakin is on line 3. Has either of the two been playing much PP? Does Kovalev's return bump Shore out of the top 6 ya think?

Shore is center so he and Kovalev aren't fighting for the same roster spots. So I don't think that will have an effect on Shore.

Neither will be seeing much of PP-minutes this year.

Eakin is more of a sure thing to stay up all year (in a bottom-6 role), while Shore will have better opportunity to be a top-6 player but may get sent down too. But as I said, I'd grab Shore.

I'd lean towards Shore as well, for the reasons Carcillo gave.

I am liking shore more and more... for the long term i would go with him.
