Joacim Eriksson? - REP
 

I´ve been offered Joacim Eriksson for a deep 3rd round pick in 2014. We do only have 3 rounds of prospect draft each year.

Anybody has any insight on him. His stats in the swedish elite league look pretty solid, and he is still young. As far as i know any NHL team could go out
and sign him as an FA.

How do you guys feel about his upside? Any chance he´ll be in the NHL some day?

I know he's very talented (top level numbers in the SEL) and well thought of but it's impossible to predict if and when he'll come over. As a result, I'd recommend only giving up a very minor asset for him. The other problem is that there's a logjam of goalies in most systems as it is, so that decreases the chances of an external option.

He's a good goalie. He may get signed, he may not. It's too hard to say. Goalies take so long to develop. I'd feel better about a goalie prospect cutting his teeth over here.
