Down to the line, need help (REP)
So my current Goalie H2H matchup stats are as follows:
My team: 3W, 1L, 7 GA, 1.74 GAA, 129 SV, .949 SV%, 0 SHO His team: 3W, 2L, 9 GA, 1.80 GAA, 120 SV, .930 SV%, 1 SHO He has Rinne vs CHI tonight I have Rask @ BUF tonight Rask historically hasn't done too well against Buffalo. Is it smart tosit Rask tonight or take the risk and start him? Thanks |
I think this heavily depends on what your overall matchup is right now. If you're up by a lot in the player categories I would sit Rask because doing so will most likely make you lose only saves and maybe wins.
|
I think that NOT starting him should give you 4-3 win on goalie cats. You'll give up SVs and potentially Ws, but I think the others are a good bet to stay as is. Unless he gets a SO, I think you'll be okay.
Starting him could cost you more than it's worth. |
I thought so too. Just wanted the confirmation thanks guys. Will rep in a bit
|
I would play him.

Pretty much it comes down to will rask play better than rinne? If he does then I'm good. If not I may lose all cats Edit. Posted before I saw you changed to sit him. I just don't think rask is worth the risk especially with his record against buffalo. If it was a weaker opponent i would consider it |

I never sit goalies, no matter if I am winning cats or losing them. Maybe its just the way I am but I draft these guys expecting them to get me points. Not sure how that happens if they are on my bench.
Its almost the wussy way out to me. Be a man, start your goalies. |
No worries khudobin is starting instead. Now the question is do I put rask in in case khudobin gets pulled?
