Letang

Letang left practice and is a game time decision for tonight...so does anyone have any idea why? LOL

I was just offered him in a trade, and would love to have him, but the price is steep, too steep if he is injured.

Something has been nagging him for little while. He missed Monday's practice and then played 25+ minutes Tuesday night. Speculation is it may be his hip, but nobody knows except those who aren't talking.

With such a short training camp and so few rest days in a compressed schedule I do suspect we're going to see a lot of nagging injuries force players to the sidelines for several games at a time b/c there's no natural healing space in the schedule.

I have Byfuglien and Letang and the rest of my D-corps is grossly under-performing so I can ill afford Letang to miss time.

hmmmm.....
the trade offer is Iggy/Letang for my Stewart/Chara

In our pool Chara and Letang are basically point even most years, and lets me get a bit younger for a defenceman keeper.

Any other news from anyone? More worried about a concussion than anything else.

I would do it in a keeper pool regardless. I like Iginla better than Stewart and prefer Letang to Chara long-term.

I don't think concussion is likely b/c of the rigorous protocols players have to go through in order to play. This is almost certainly something that's been lingering and they've let him play through it so far so it's unlikely a concussion.

#Pens coach Bylsma said Fleury starts in goal Saturday. Letang did not make the trip and is still day-to-day with lower-body injury

I'd love to see Joe Morrow called up!
