come on now, is he gunna actually be day-to-day or long time injured??? im worried to pick him up in my hockey pool cuz i wonder if its his knee again and maybe he might be out a long time!

I searched several WPG Jets blogs and everyone is saying the same thing...LBI. The Jest played back-to-back and if Buff was going to sit for one he was all but guaranteed to sit for both...especially as WPG doesn't play until Tuesday [I believe]. He'll have had almost a week off and at this point there's little reason to think he won't play.

Could it be more serious...yes, but we haven't been given any indication to lean in this direction [after all he was a game-time decision Thursday]...yet. We should hear more over the next couple of days.

Out of curiosity, what do you mean by "pick him up"? Is he available in your pool b/c if so I think you'd be silly not to grab him.

I'd love an update too. Our league makes lineup changes weekly on Sat nights. On another note....in what league is this guy available for pick up? A 4 team keeper wheer each team only starts 2 D?

In a keeper where you keep 4 D...I'd do that in a heartbeat assuming Bigg Buff is OK.

I'd do this deal even if I knew Buff was done for the rest of the year. It kind of boild down to Markov for Buff in a limited, goal-heavy keeper league. That's about as no-brainer a decision as I've seen.

That trade is the definition of "sell-high".....wow make that trade regardless of Buff's injury. You'll be pissed you didn't whenever Markov suffers an injury of his own.

The Winnipeg Free Press has Buff listed as OUT tonight against FLA. There's no new information being given...still a LBI and still day-to-day.
