nailing a starting goalie in a 14 team league is always tough even a struggling one and you dont seem to be overpaying at all here imo

Cashing in on Winniks insane points (usustainable IMO) and a troublesome Vis picking up a starting goalie is worth it. Tough to loose Jagr but is he really going to be back next year?

I'd do it. Selling Winnik high is a bonus. I cant see him keeping up anywhere near this pace. Hagelin "should" get some top 6 time with Cally hurt for a couple weeks. Getting Kipper wont hurt you either. None of them will be keepers for you going forward anyways.

Wow. I'm of the opinion this deal is a NO. Jagr with Benn this year will put up likely 20 more pts than Doan. Kiprusoff is probably equal to my 2nd goaler Pavelec. Hagelin and Seabrook vs Winnik and lubo seems like a wash at best...but Lubo on improved iles may out produce seabrook by a lot. I'm stumped.

I really like this trade for you ... You didn't lose much as one guy is obviously declining due to age, one guy who may not play this year, and another player off to a red hot start compared to his career numbers. You gained 2 decent winners in Doan and Hagelin who I both think will out point Jagr, a superior D in Seabrook who is better than Visnovsky when he is in the NHL and true #1 goalie who is not in a platoon this year. Looks like a sure fire win for you in this trade.

Edit: Hagelin will not out point Jagr but I do like his upside due to his speed

I like Jagr more than any forward he has and Vis the best defenceman. However, Doan is a decent player. Hagelin could sneak into the top 6 at some point in time. You have enough offensive fire power to have take these guys in as nice roll/depth players. Seabrook is no slouch, so that eases losing Vus. The bonus is getting Kip to solidify your goal.

You very well may be getting rid of headaches with Jagr's age - injury and Vis yet to report - suspension and Winnik over-achieving.

MAN! Kiprusoff might actually be the biggest headache of all!! I can only dress 2 goalies...don't think I'd start kipper ahead of pavelec unless he had more games. Coyotes are crap, I owned doan last year... Good offer, but I just don't think I can give up possibly the 2 best players in the deal. I'm not talking about winnik...lubo on the iles could be very solid pt producer. CRAP. I'm torn.

I hear you. You're looking at the plus side of keeping your guys. Look at their negatives to. As I stated in my initial reply, Jagr gets hurt quite a bit in his old age. Vis has yet to play, and this is a short season. If this is a Dynasty, then, I get your point and would hold onto these guys. If not, I'd be okay with the deal. As far as your goalies go, if one goes down you're in trouble.
