Watch tv on the web for free

Hey all.

I'm looking for a site that I can watch tv for free preferably. I don't trust pay sites with my credit card and I'm cheap haha.

Anyone got a suggestion???

Search the forum as there are countless threads with the answers you need. Failing that try googling wiziwig and use the forum. You could also try vipbox.

Sign up for Netflix - get the USA version.

Can watch shows (usually season behind) like The League, How I Met your Mother, Mad Men, ESPN 30 for 30, bunch of movies for $8 per month. That's like 2 cups,of coffee.

I actually have great interest in this topic too.
Comcast just upped our cableTV/internet price to $119/month.
It's at the point where we just can't afford that.

I'm ready to explore some "options".
Hopefully somebody out there feels like they might be able to help a hockey-brother out.
Maybe shoot me a PM and exchange some emails if any of you have any good tips on this topic.

We've got our home computer within direct wiring location of our main TV.
I've also got a PS3 that is hooked up to both for streaming netflix.
(But I just can't shake my wife away from our cableTV plan unless I can guarantee her that she can still "simply" watch some of her shows on HGTV)

{sigh... effin cable costs}

I go to this site or this site for TV shows, and this site for sports.

For the TV shows one you can watch movies as well. Most likely not legal at all, but I really don't know how the legality of these things work. Quality of streams vary as well.

if you can get your hands on an older apple tv(version 2) or lower you can jailbreak it and get most stuff along with a ton of movies(ones in theater also)

apple tv 2 + jailbreak + xbmc + icefilms = no cable
