Derrick Pouliot

So in a points only keeper (where D goals are worth double), Derrick Pouliot is on waivers. Is he going to meet his potential?

Depends on where you put his potential at..

40-45 pointer in 3 years?

I think that's about right. The opportunity is there. I feel he is the second most talented dman in that organization. So he should find himself in a nice posting to succeed in 2-3-4years. Id pick him up if I had room on keeper roster. If you have a salary cap his value increases in my eyes aswell.

I totally agree witb his talent assessment and believe he will be a 40pt Dman in a few years.

Love the future for this kid. He has great opportunity in Pittsburgh to flourish on the back end. Not much in the way for him to come up and do his thing. You have an open spot on your prospect roster or need to drop a player? As long as your not dropping a player equal to his talent than yes stash him away.

He's more of a passer. Morrow will be the guy who shoots his passes on the PP.

I think 40-45 points is reasonable but expecting that within 3 years is not.

Totally agree with this post!!

And Morrow will be the shooter when he is ready.

I agree he can hit his potential but he wont score many goals. More of a passer than a shooter.
