Just asking why you are so down on Harper at 20?
And Ellsbury over BJ or Jennings?

He could have been higher, but in the end I decided it's better to give proven guys the edge over newbies (which is part of the reason why I have Braun over Trout). There are some exceptions here, no list is perfect.

For Ellsbury, he just needs to stay healthy and he will score a ton of runs, steal lots of bases and chip in with some hone runs and RBI.

I do like B.J. Upton, but he needs to hit for a higher average to be a top 20 guy. Since hitting .300 in 2007, He hasn't come anywhere near that mark.

2010- .237
2011- .243
2012- .256

I do have to give him credit, as he looks to be breaking into the .260/.270 range. We will see though, his inconsistencies are a bit worrisome.

BJU makes my top 18. True, he is a four cat hitter, but then so is Grandy.

top 7; Braun, Trout, McC, Kemp, Cargo, Stanton, Bautista

next 6; Harper, Heyward, Hamilton, Jupton, Ajones, Ellsbury

next 5; Grandy, Cespedes, BJU, Bruce, Holliday

Think I'd rather have Craig than Ethier for some reason.

Nice looking list......from what I have been hearing on various pod casts, many expect a pretty decent regression from Trout. The numbers he put up last year are not sustainable.

Same goes for Joey Bats actually. Some have him much lower.

I will oook forward to those and I agree with gfhyde on joey bats being low on some peoples list, shoulder and wrist injuries are scary for power hitters.
