Kane for Ryan
 

So a guy in my league in sig put Kane on the block. I offered Ryan and he countered by adding in a swap of picks. My 12th rd for his 13th rd. As the first 9 rounds are not done due to keepers its essentially a first for second round swap.

I wasn't expecting to get Kane for Ryan but wondering if the picks are too high?

I like it for you assuming its Patrick Kane.

You keep 8 in a 12 team league , so basically a 100 players are kept. The difference in pick swaps is not too significant. I'd get Kane here.

I would easily take Patrick Kane over Bobby Ryan, a minor swap of picks does't change anything for me.

I can't see how this hurts you this year or into the future. Ryan continues to struggle and Kane is playing well. Even if and when Ryan turns it around (as a Ryan owner hopefully sooner rather than latter) I still like Kane's current situation in Chicago more than Ryan's in Anaheim. The swap of drafts is pretty insignificant and if that's what it takes to make the deal fly then so be it. I'd do this.
