Neuvirth Starting Back to Back...

He didn't play well against MTL. Could this possibly be foreshadowing a Holtby trade???

Hmmmmmmmmmmm..................speculation......... ..........

No, nothing. Just another start for Neuvirth.

could be trying to trade either of them really

could be the mysterious luongo piece

From my post in the Caps section of the Eastern Conference forum:

Neuvirth has a history of playing very well against the Devils with an impressive 1.96 GAA and .930 SV%. Neuvirth is 4-1-2 against the Devils.

I think they need to showcase him in order to trade him. He sucked vs Mtl so they need him to bounce back. The Luongo in Washington idea is not far fetched but I'm thinking Philly is the front runner at the moment and that they are desperately trying to get rid of Bryz, while avoiding a buyout...

mystery solved

I think we're forgetting the other point here- goalies need to get a few starts in a row simply to shake the rust off. They might've figured last start was largely due to a lack of playing time...

Can someone besides me (die hard Caps fan) comment on how Neuvi played tonight?!!!!!!

cappy76 01-25-2013 10:14 PM

Neuvy played great made a couple of 10 bell saves in the game and all 3 goals he had no chance on D left him out to dry. As for him sucking against Montreal thats just wrong he had no chance on all but one of those goals the other night.
