Trades and the Yak effect.
It might be premature, but now that I have Yakupov as a potential keeper option, would it be foolish to think of trading Ovechkin? After coming in 2nd/3rd the past two seasons I'm all in this year. Is Yakupov a keeper option or am I a few years too early?
Or does he become a better option then Seguin who I really like. |
what kind of return could you get for ovechkin
even if yak doesnt make it as a keeper benn very well could |
I really want to make run this year after coming up short the last two. I'm looking to make a splash that puts me over the top. Not sure either of these will do it.
I thought of maybe a OV/Bieksa for P. Kane/Chara. or OV/Niemi for Toews/Rask. |
both of those deals look a bit out of the range of what you are offering
|
Yea, that's what I was afraid of. I could swap Phanuef for Bieksa on that deal.
|
thats still not going to get it done
you are essentially asking the other guy to upgrade both of your players |

the problem also is its a matter of timing
prior to the season you might get kane for ovechkin however when ovechkin has 1 point in 3 games and kane has 7 points in 4 games to start this season that kinda goes out the window kane may not have ovechkins ceiling but at this point it doesnt look like he has his floor either |
