Bryz, Niemi or...?
I can only play one goalie on any given night and my main goalie is Quick (yes, he's been horrible to start). I need to pick up a second goalie to fill in games when Quick isn't playing.
My league only counts wins and shutouts (no GAA, save %, etc.) I already have Price as my second and, although he's doing okay right now, I don't think Montreal will do that great this season. Should I pick up Bryz or Niemi and drop Price? Other options are Elliott, Vokoun or Ward. Again, it's okay if it's a backup goalie like Elliott or Vokoun because I only need them every now n then. |
Niemi.
San Jose is playing some very solid hockey. |
Turns out I was too slow and someone else picked up Niemi...
Who would you guys choose next? Brodeur, Crawford and Lehtonen are out there too. |
if elliot is still available i'd grab him. st louis is tearing up the west with no signs of slowing down and they like to alternate their goalies more than most teams
|
Brodeur doing surprisingly well in short season, and despite age, you only keep 1 goalie (prolly Quick). NJ might be playing more defensive style this season.
Either him or Lehtonen for me. |
was Bryz picked up as well. Philly won't suck forever
|
I like Elliott because he'll still get his fair share of games and the Blues are going to be tops in their conference this year (imo). Bryz is still available though.
Ok, do I drop Price to pick up one of these guys or do I drop one of my bench forwards (likely Semin or Brunner)? |
I like the idea of dropping Brunner for Bryzgalov, while keeping Price.
