St. Louis handcuff?
Halak has 2 s/o so far, albeit in relatively soft nights.
Elliott played really well last year - possibly over his head? If Elliott keeps it up, this becomes a 1a/1b situation. How important is it for Halak owners to grab Elliott too? |

but since you are in a 12 team league he is on someone elses team most elliott owners are trying to sell him as a starting goalie even though he isnt even the a in the 1a/1b you could try to feel the owner out to find out what he would want but i would imagine it would be more than its worth to you |

Moderately important, I'd say. If getting a good quantity of goalie starts is important, then getting Elliott is important. If getting those starts is not important, then getting Elliott is less important. I own Halak in my salary cap league and have made offers for Elliott, though the return request was too high for my liking. Elliott really only has truly greatest value to a Halak owner (because the Halak owner knows they will get every Elliott start, in a daily league). So - the offer should be low, a fair return for the Elliott owner. |
this is a true tandem.
all you can expect is that they will each start 21 games this year, give or take and they will both have very good stats. |
Thanks All! Appreciated.

I honestly see Halak getting at least 30 games this year, I dont think Elliott will repeat his performance from last season and he will become a backup not a 1B. Again this is just my take on the situation and a gut feeling as much as anything.
