Is it better to play Rinne for 3 games or Brodeur for 4?
I notice that I can have a maximum of 48 games played by a goalie, if I stick with Rinne the whole way I will probably get around 40(already down 1 because of not starting). I could make up those 8 by swapping in Brodeur on the off weeks, but is it worth it?
Could be I'm put off by Rinne's really unfortunate start. Point system is 1 for a win, 3 for a shutout. |

The fact that it's 3pts for a SO is all the more reason to roll the dice on Rinne. |
Rinne is breaking my balls lol
At least Brodeur isn't doing great now or that would just be insult to injury Almost contemplating getting another goalie altogether because Nashville are just playing garbage so far |
A potential free agent is Corey Crawford
I don't think I want to throw away my second of three total player pick ups in the second week though lol |

I think this theory is flawed, to be honest. When a team plays 3 games in a week, the #1 goalie often plays them all. When a team plays 4 games in a week, the #1 goalie usually plays 3, with a back-up playing the fourth. In other words, most #1 goalies play 3 games in a week... and not ever 4. Stay with your best goalie: Rinne. |
Solid point, I guess I'm just panicking early as some goalies are getting 6-10+ points while Rinne is stuck at 0
