One Upside To Shortened Season

I'm loving how many games there are every night. I haven't had a night with no fantasy relevance yet! Always hated the middle of the week when there's only a few games and you've got nobody playing

True that, makes a case to shorten the season a bit.

82 games seems excessive.

I don't know if I would go that far! I would much rather not watch football only because there is no hockey!

This shortened season format is so much better. Games actually matter. Too bad they would never agree to shorten the season unless its due to exceptional circumstances.

Need to find a new reason to strike each year

yeah its weird having so many guys in the lineup every night, takes a little more shuffling and matchup playing than usual

A 70 game schedule in 6 less weeks would be perfect. Compresses the games into a shorter time frame.

I completely agree and it would be awesome for the fans, but unworkable for the owners as it cuts out 12 games worth of profit.

Honestly though, they could cut training camps down to a couple of weeks and max half a dozen exhibition games to give the players some partly meaningful games to make their mark.
