[TRADE] Justin Upton to Braves

Sounds like this is happening. Won't be finalized until Monday.

"MLB.com's Mark Bowman says the Braves will receive Upton and Chris Johnson in exchange for Martin Prado, Randall Delgado, Nick Ahmed, Zeke Spruill and Brandon Drury"

"Now 25 years of age, he will be joining his older brother B.J. in Atlanta. It should be a great fit, and great theater"

As a Justin Upton owner, I'm pumped. Upton, Jupton, Heyward :o

Sounds like the Braves management has been listening to some James Brown this winter, "Get Upton!"

This is so cool, Eric and Jordan Staal are together in the NHL and now the Upton brothers are on the same team.

Great job by the Braves getting this one done, look for the Rangers to make a push for Michael Bourn now that Upton is on the move. Look for a trade analysis piece from me today or tomorrow on Dobber Baseball.

Talking fantasy value Texas has to be one of the more appealing destinations for Bourn, no?

Definitely, it seems like the Rangers and Mets are the most interested in Bourn right now from what I've heard.

I feel like Boras is keeping it quiet though, he could sign anywhere. Whats clear now is that he's not getting five years and $100 MM. Nick Swisher tried for that, but settled for much less to sign with Cleveland.
